PHOENIX - Arizona consumers are gaining a new shield from identify theft: the ability to impose low-cost freezes on their credit reports.


France's biggest retail bank Credit Agricole reported weak second-quarter net profits of 76 million euros (112 million dollars) on Thursday, as its financial and investment services suffered from depreciation of assets.


According to published reports, the auto financing company GMAC discontinued credit to some car dealerships operated by Columbus, Ga.-based Bill Heard Enterprises, which operates 14 car dealerships from Arizona to Florida, including Bill Heard Chevrolet in Plant City.
