COLORADO SPRINGS - The U.S. Forest Service says an outbreak of the plague is killing black-tailed prairie dogs in the Comanche National Grassland in southeastern Colorado.


Most Colorado highways have reopened after a snowstorm caused icy roads and poor visibility for holiday travelers returning home. The Colorado Department of Transportation has reopened U.S. 285 from Kenosha Pass to Fairplay, and South Park. And U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass has reopened.
