| MONTPELIER , Vt. — Vermont Treasurer Jeb Spaulding wants to increase the state tax on motor fuels as a way to pay for bridge projects. A report by Spaulding says the 5-cent-a-gallon tax would raise $20 million a year and help reduce a backlog of needed bridge repairs and replacement. |
