| ATLANTA - An index of Georgia factory activity released Wednesday showed signs of a pause in some activities while the general momentum remains positive. The state version of the Purchasing Managers Index registered 55. The national edition compiled by the Institute for Supply Management came in at 56.3, a rise of 0.8.
